Vision Statement
Gabby's Miracle Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families who are facing childhood cancer and other life threatening illnesses, giving hope to families in need.
Gabby's Story
The last 2 weeks of July 2005, we began to notice that our 5 year old daughter, Gabby was losing mobility of her left side. We took her to Childrens Hospital and there they did a CAT scan. She was diagnosed with a inoperable brain tumor that began at her brain stem and ended at the cortex of the brain. It was about the 1/3 size of her brain. A biopsy showed it was an aggresive Malignant Oligodendroglioma.
Gabby went through radiation, chemotherapy and surgery. She was everything that her name meant. Gabrielle means, "angel of God" and "warrior of God". She had a strong, yet compassionate spirit that reflected her deep love for her Jesus.
Gabby went home to heaven to be with Jesus August 31st, 2006.

Mission for Gabby's Miracle Foundation
Our mission for the Foundation is to provide support for families dealing with the challenges of childhood cancer.
Our goals are to:
Adopt families yearly. During that year provide them with emotional, spiritual and financial help.
Operation Gabby's Gift. Gabby's Gift is a Christmas outreach for families in need in our community.
Raise money through annual fundraising events.
Most importantly, to be a true example of God's love in everything we do, to provide hope when there seems to be none. To be a "life-light", an un-extinguishable light in the midst of darkness. |
